Knights-Tigers Trade: Jacobson for Martinez Sunday, December 21st , 2025 The Baseball News Network is reporting that New York and Hamilton have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 30-year old 1B Jim Jacobson to the Tigers with 21-year old minor league C Ruben Pastora and 24-year old minor league RHP Manny Martinez joining the Knights. New York general manager Josh Carter would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. During his career, Jacobson has chalked up 81 hits and a .265 average with 10 home runs and 51 RBIs. |
