Done Deal: Salazar for Monroe Thursday, December 18th , 2025 D.C. and Mexico City made a trade today. In this move, the Potomacs shipped 21-year old minor league C Mike Saiz and 24-year old minor league LHP Billy Salazar to the Aztecas for 33-year old C Jonathan Monroe and $3,760 in cash. The D.C. GM told reporters, "I think this trade is beneficial to everyone involved, including the players." Mexico City will retain a portion of Monroe's remaining contract. Monroe's career batting average is .283. In 426 games, he has gotten 429 hits, 60 home runs, 221 RBIs and scored 216 runs. |
