Narwhals, Caracals Trade Players Monday, December 8th , 2025 The Vancouver Narwhals and Calgary Caracals have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. Vancouver will part with 21-year old minor league LHP Tony Benitez, while the Caracals have dealt 30-year old RHP Chance Blackwell and 23-year old LF Izzy Gutierrez. "This one took a while to figure out," said Vancouver general manager Jason Del Monaco. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." In his career, Blackwell has registered 2 wins and 4 losses with 5 saves. His lifetime ERA stands at 4.42 with 74 strikeouts and 20 walks in 71.1 innings. |
