Evans Grabs ESPC Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, October 29th , 2025 As an impending free agent, Ethan Evans is expecting his next contract to be a big one. He certainly has a bargaining chip, as he was today named the winner of the 2025 Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit Reliever of the Year Award. The Sherbrooke Canadians reliever had a 2.19 ERA this season over 90.1 innings of work. He made 54 relief appearances and had 13 saves, 102 strikeouts, 16 walks and a record of 12-4. Opponent batters hit only .243 against him. "I'm looking forward to signing that next deal," he said. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Koji Kaneshiro of the New York Knights finished second in voting, while Chris Iverson of the D.C. Potomacs finished third.
