Marcos Orosco put on a hitting clinic as the Edmonton Drillers dumped the Vancouver Narwhals, 15-12, at Narwhals Stadium.

The Edmonton right fielder made Vancouver defenders earn their pay, lashing Vancouver pitching for 6 hits in 9 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Orosco said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Marcos Orosco flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Brian Burns in the 9th, flied out in the 11th, singled in the 14th and hit an RBI single in the 15th.
