It seemed that Miami (R) first baseman Felipe Valenzuela could do no wrong as the Sun Sox KO'd the Thunder, 14-12. Valenzuela rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Thunder hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Sun Sox were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Tampa Bay (R) fan after the game.

"I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Valenzuela in the postgame press interview.

Felipe Valenzuela singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th, walked in a run in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Ernesto Moreno in the 11th.

This year, Valenzuela is batting .352 with 7 home runs.
