Marinelli on Fire, 5-for-9 Against New York City (R)
Ersilio Marinelli was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at PBC Rookie Development Complex, the Boston (R) center fielder blistered the New York City (R) Gothams for 5 hits in 9 at-bats to pace his club to a good 6-5 victory.

"Marinelli was too tough to get out," Gothams skipper Paul Rudolph said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
