Siefken Goes on Rampage Against Capitals
Dan Siefken was sizzling at the plate. The Quebec City second baseman blistered the Ottawa Capitals for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 6-5.

"Siefken was too tough to get out today," Capitals skipper Noel Dolce said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win."

Dan Siefken grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
