Boston (R) Halts Alvidrez's Hitting Steak Thursday, June 27th , 2024 The Boston (R) Shamrocks clamped down on Arturo Alvidrez and put a stop to his hit streak. He went without a hit, ending the run at 21 straight games, but it didn't keep the Warriors from winning. Washington (R) downed the Shamrocks, 3-2. "It was bound to happen," Alvidrez said with a shrug after the game. At present, Alvidrez is batting .333 and has collected 5 home runs, 16 RBIs, .424 OBP and scored 8 runs. |
