#1 Skipper in RCLW: Wickenkamp of Los Angeles (R) Sunday, October 29th , 2023 Club officials have reported seeing Mark Wickenkamp at the ballpark as early as 7 am. His dedication, coupled with a shrewd management style and a knack for knowing "who's hot and who's not" earned Wickenkamp the RCL West Manager of the Year Award for 2023. "I guess you could say I pushed all the right buttons at the right time for the Knights to have the season we did. But keep in mind, too, that I also had a group of dedicated ballplayers who played their hearts out. I thank them for winning this award for me." There was much joy in Los Angeles (R) this season. Their beloved Knights took first place in the RCL West, rounding out the year with a 63-25 record. |
