Burgess Takes RCLE's Best Bat Trophy Tuesday, October 1st , 2024 Atlanta (R) Pilots fans believe they've got a talented young star in Chris Burgess. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in September, as he hit .409 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 10 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the RCL East Batter of the Month. For the season, Burgess is currently batting .382 with 18 home runs and 69 RBIs. In 87 games he has reached base at a .459 rate and scored 55 runs to date. |
