San Diego (R)'s Owens Down with Injury Friday, September 20th , 2024 The season is finished for Dan Owens of the San Diego (R) Roadrunners. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Roadrunners shortstop suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the St. Louis (R) Lions. Team doctors said it would take at least 8-9 months to heal. In his 2024 season totals, Owens has 11 home runs, .272 BA, .390 OBP, 46 RBIs and 49 runs scored. |
