Mario Ramos Lost for Season Tuesday, September 17th , 2024 Mario Ramos of the Voodoo just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old New Orleans (R) reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Minnesota (R) Loons recently at PBC Rookie Development Complex. Ramos suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Voodoo medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 13-14 months. This year, Ramos has chalked up a 11.45 ERA with no saves. In 13 relief appearances he has put up a 1-1 won-lost mark and struck out 26 batters in 22 innings. |
