McCall Mows Down 15 Keystones Monday, September 9th , 2024 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Ryan McCall, the Detroit (R) Motors topped the Philadelphia (R) Keystones by a score of 5-0 at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The 20-year-old McCall brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 3 hits and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Keystones manager Dante Leiva said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." McCall has made 20 starts so far this year and put up a 13-0 won-lost record with a 2.39 ERA.
