Carmona Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, September 7th , 2024 Harvey Carmona's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Denver (R). The 19-year-old center fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-3 performance against the New Orleans (R) Voodoo. The Cutthroats won the game, 4-2. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Harvey Carmona singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and was hit by a pitch in the 7th. This season, Carmona is hitting .354 with 90 hits, 7 home runs, 40 RBIs, scored 36 runs and played in 66 games. |
