Orozco Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Wednesday, September 4th , 2024 Jon Orozco, left fielder for the Toronto (R) Titans, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 8-7 victory over the Philadelphia (R) Keystones at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "Not the outcome we wanted," Philadelphia (R) manager Dante Leiva said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Jon Orozco flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season, Orozco is batting .322 with 12 home runs, 41 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 233 at-bats, 22 walks and a .395 OBP. Orozco has played in 58 games. |
