Minnesota (R)'s Allen Injured, Out of Lineup Sunday, August 4th , 2024 The season is apparently over for Jim Allen. The Minnesota (R) Loons medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 12-13 months with a torn rotator cuff. Allen was hurt in the game against Dallas (R) while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To date, Allen has a 3-2 mark in 12 starts with a 2.85 ERA. He has given up 53 hits in 53.2 innings, struck out 69 and issued 12 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .250 batting average against him. |
