Coyotes Al Benge Wins WAC Award Monday, July 8th , 2024 The premier performer in the Western Amateur Circuit this week was Al Benge of the Albuquerque Coyotes. The hot-hitting 26-year-old shortstop put up a .636 average and .750 on-base percentage, piling up 7 hits in 11 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the WAC Player of the Week honors. Benge is batting at a .274 pace this season, picking up 57 hits in 208 at-bats with 13 home runs, 41 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
