Marc Patterson Nabs Prestigious Pitcher of the Year Award Monday, September 23rd , 2024 When the name of Marc Patterson appeared on the Franklin lineup card in 2024, it was a virtual guarantee of a victory or at least a well-pitched game. For his brilliant performance this season he was named the Eastern Amateur Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award winner today. He started 22 games, running up a 11-6 record and a 3.28 ERA. Patterson held opponents to a .254 average while striking out 162, walking 51 and allowing 152 hits in 159.1 innings of work. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 20. Trevor Mitchell of the Fort Wayne Farmers finished second in voting, while Mark Weber of the Oil City Oilers finished third.
