Best EAC Reliever Named Friday, September 20th , 2024 St. Petersburg Pelicans reliever Brad Dunn said he loves to come into the game when the outcome is in jeopardy. He certainly did a good job of impacting his team's outcomes this season, as he has been named the winner of the 2024 Reliever of the Year Award for the Eastern Amateur Circuit. "There's no better feeling than running in from the bullpen with the game on the line and your heart pumping," Dunn said. On the season, the Vallejo, California native had 24 saves in 39 relief appearances, 84 strikeouts in 65 innings and a record of 4 wins and 1 loss to go with his 1.38 ERA. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 20. Josh Harrison of the Long Beach Titans finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Tony Hoffmann of the Brooklyn Atlantics finished third.
