Barajas Blisters Dallas Saturday, September 7th , 2024 Luis Barajas found his groove in today's game versus the Dallas Bulls and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the St. Petersburg Pelicans, as the club lost the game, 8-7. The 20-year-old right fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked." "I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Barajas said. Luis Barajas singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 10th. So far this season, Barajas has 14 home runs and a .277 batting average.
