Oil City Loses Bergeson for Year Sunday, September 1st , 2024 T.J. Bergeson of the Oilers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 24-year-old Oil City reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Providence Grays recently at The Oil Field. Bergeson suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch. The Oilers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 10 months. This season, Bergeson has accumulated 1 save, registered a 6.97 ERA and struck out 5 in 10.1 innings. He also has a 0-2 record in 6 relief appearances. |
