Manhattan Loses Mike Boyd for Season Sunday, September 1st , 2024 The season is finished for Mike Boyd of the Manhattan Liberty. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Liberty reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Long Beach Titans. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal. To this point in the season Boyd has 1 save in 6 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 3.00 ERA. |
