Aguilar Takes EAC's Best Bat Trophy Sunday, September 1st , 2024 Carlos Aguilar is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Manhattan shortstop joined that select company when the Eastern Amateur Circuit announced the results of August's voting. Aguilar totaled 32 hits, 21 walks, 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .372 batting average and .491 on-base percentage. This year, Aguilar is hitting .264 with 19 home runs and 65 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .415 clip and scored 65 runs. |
