Friday, August 9th , 2024
When Aaron Stick was hurt against the El Paso Mavericks, the New Orleans Buccaneers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 28-year-old starting pitcher suffered a stretched elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Stick would miss 11-12 months of the season.
Checking out his stats for the season, Stick has notched 10 wins and 4 losses in 21 starts. His ERA is 3.41 and he's struck out 170 batters in 126.2 innings.
