Boston Starting Pitcher Out Wednesday, August 7th , 2024 Mark Campbell has to call it a season. The Boston Battalion starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Long Beach Titans and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Campbell was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 12-13 months. This season, Campbell has gone 2-4 with an ERA of 5.43, posting 57 strikeouts in 53 innings. |
