Jones Selected Top Performer in WAC Monday, July 29th , 2024 Bruce Jones stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Western Amateur Circuit Player of the Week honors. The San Diego first baseman ripped opposing pitchers for 8 hits in 16 at-bats and 3 home runs. He put together a sizzling .500 batting average as he knocked in 6 runs and scored 4 times. This season in 38 games, Jones is batting .415 with 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and has scored 14 times. |
