Hamilton, Mexico City Agree to Swap Saturday, December 28th , 2024 The Hamilton Tigers and Mexico City Aztecas have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. Hamilton will part with 21-year old minor league 3B Jesus Pascual and 22-year old CF Bill Winters, while the Aztecas have dealt 31-year old LF James Colwill. "This one took a while to figure out," said Hamilton general manager Mike McKay. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." In 506 career games Colwill is hitting at a .277 pace with 537 hits with 71 doubles, 3 triples and 64 homers while scoring 224 runs and racking up 258 RBIs. He logged 152 walks and owns a .335 on-base percentage. |
