The Rule 5 draft allows clubs to grab a player who has been languishing in another team's minor leagues and give them the chance to spend the season in the bigs. "The Rule 5 is never going to produce a ton of top level ballplayers", said Winnipeg Buffaloes manager Leon Fontein.
