Done Deal: Velo for Hammack Sunday, December 1st , 2024 Fans in D.C. woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 23-year old 3B Filippio Velo to the Newark Eagles. In return, the Potomacs will receive 30-year old 3B Jon Hammack and 23-year old minor league 2B Jim Rose. As far as career numbers, Hammack has compiled a .279 batting average and collected 303 hits, 27 home runs and 131 RBIs. |
