Sherbrooke, Saskatoon Agree to Swap Friday, November 22nd , 2024 The Sherbrooke Canadians and Saskatoon Moose have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. Sherbrooke will part with 24-year old minor league LF Marco Perez, 24-year old minor league RHP Ricky Garcia, and 24-year old CF Trevor Davis, while the Moose have dealt 31-year old RHP Joe Davenport. "This one took a while to figure out," said Sherbrooke general manager Juan Miranda. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." Davenport's career stats show a 7-17 record, 77 appearances, 18 saves and a 4.94 ERA. He has 123 strikeouts in 122 innings pitched. |
