Winnipeg-Hamilton Announce Swap Thursday, November 21st , 2024 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Winnipeg has worked out terms of a deal to send 24-year old 2B Tyler Donohue and 24-year old minor league RHP Phil Tallant to Hamilton for 32-year old RHP Akke Nienhuis and $4,180 in cash. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. Hamilton will retain a portion of Nienhuis's remaining contract. Nienhuis has collected 83 wins and 79 losses over his career with a 3.74 ERA. The 32-year-old hurler also has struck out 1576 batters in 1395 innings and allowed 1227 hits. |
