Saskatoon, Sherbrooke Make Trade Thursday, November 14th , 2024 The Moose and the Canadians finalized a deal this afternoon. Saskatoon has traded for 40-year old LF Jim Wermter and $640 in cash and in return Sherbrooke will receive 23-year old minor league RHP Cory Yarbrough and 24-year old minor league LHP John Walton. Sherbrooke will retain a portion of Wermter's remaining contract. Looking at his all-time stats, Wermter has a lifetime .269 average with 515 hits, 79 doubles, 4 triples, 76 home runs and 275 RBIs. To date he has scored 297 runs, walked 335 times and stolen 76 bases. |
