Sherbrooke's Stewart Takes 2024 Most Valuable Player Award Tuesday, November 5th , 2024 Preston Stewart of the Sherbrooke Canadians had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2024. The 29-year-old shortstop put up a .329 average and a .385 on-base percentage, piling up 163 hits, 30 doubles, 3 triples, 22 home runs, 79 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 20. Dylan Porter of the Quebec City Admirals finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Rod James of the D.C. Potomacs finished third with 3 first place votes.
