Calgary-Allentown Announce Deal Monday, October 28th , 2024 The Caracals announced today the acquisition of 30-year old minor league CF Bill Williams from the Allentown Fleetwings in exchange for 23-year old minor league RHP Mario Rivera, 20-year old minor league 2B Jose Lara, and 23-year old C Vicente Lopez. "This isn't the biggest deal out there," acknowledged the Caracals, "but it should help out both clubs." Williams has a lifetime .231 batting average and .280 on-base percentage in his 620-game career with 558 hits and 44 home runs. |
