Drillers Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 3rd , 2024 Fans of the Edmonton Drillers have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2019. In total, the Drillers have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Drillers have only made the playoffs once. |
