El Paso Diablos Win Pro Circuit Cup Saturday, October 26th , 2024 The El Paso Diablos ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Detroit Motors 7-6 to win the Pro Circuit Cup. El Paso won the series 4-1, capturing the title for the 8th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said El Paso manager Joe Peters. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 64-24 and claimed first place in the Western Circuit. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and second baseman Carlos Cortez said the Diablos have "great fans and they deserve this."
