Motors Win Cup Qualifier Thursday, October 17th , 2024 The fans in Detroit are celebrating the Motors victory over the Chicago Union in the Cup Qualifier. They defeated the Chicago Union 2-1 in the finale played at Trident Field to capture the series 4-1. Jayden Bowser was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Motors right fielder batted .450, drove in 2 runs and scored 2 runs in the series. "The Union are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Bowser said. "Everything at the plate seemed right."
