Play-in Series Goes the Distance, Detroit Prevails Thursday, October 10th , 2024 The Detroit Motors were paced by a strong offensive output from Jim Madore as they downed the Atlanta Pilots 4-3 to win the Play-in Series. Detroit won the final game by a score of 10-3 at The Motor Yard to send themselves off to the Cup Qualifier. "I wasn't so much focused on putting up big offensive numbers as I was about ensuring we won the games. So it's mission accomplished there," said right fielder Madore, who was named MVP. For the series, the MVP hit .320 with a .393 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.
