Zierer Superb Against Nashville Monday, September 23rd , 2024 Chicago Union starter Jason Zierer really did a number on the Nashville Bluebirds, shutting them out, 7-0, on 2 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 14 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Nashville manager Anthony Hort. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Zierer."
