Sposito Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Wednesday, September 18th , 2024 It was a parade of hits for Bill Sposito of the Detroit Motors at The Motor Yard. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Sposito finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Motors to a win, 4-3. "Sposito was really good and we were really bad," groaned Sun Sox manager Dylan Walls. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Bill Sposito singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
