New York City No Match for Nevels Tuesday, September 10th , 2024 Nathaniel Nevels shut down the New York City Gothams, blanking them, 4-0, on 3 hits, ringing up 3 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. The Philadelphia Keystones pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on. "I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Nevels said after the game. "I feel like my mechanics were getting better. I was able to make some adjustments and get a little more comfortable out there." Up to now Nevels has recorded a record of 7-5.
