Joe Webb Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Tuesday, September 3rd , 2024 The Minnesota Loons will be minus Joe Webb for about 10 months after the reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the El Paso Diablos. Webb and Loons skipper Brian Hughes had been hoping the post-game examination would show less damage than originally thought. This season, Webb has logged 1 save. He has thrown 22.2 innings, dished out 26 strikeouts and walked 10 while putting up a 0-0 mark and a 4.76 ERA. |
