Best WC Rookie Named, Nod to Serrano Sunday, September 1st , 2024 Youngster Sergio Serrano emerged as the latest Western Circuit Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Los Angeles deserved the honor, batting .310 with 3 home runs and 8 RBI. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Serrano enjoy the limelight. On the year, Serrano is hitting .298 with 39 hits, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs, .404 OBP and has scored 22 runs. |
