Turnbull Picked EC's Top Newcomer Sunday, September 1st , 2024 When it came to hitting the baseball, Carl Turnbull had few peers in the Eastern Circuit last month. The gifted first baseman for Boston tagged opposing pitchers for a .322 average and was voted the Rookie of the Month for August. Included in his stats were 29 hits, 8 homers, 27 runs scored and 17 RBIs. For the season, Turnbull is hitting .287, batted in 24 runs with 9 home runs and 30 runs scored. |
