August's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Jansen Sunday, September 1st , 2024 The hottest hurler in the Western Circuit last month was Gart Jansen of the Dallas Texans. He caught the attention of everybody in the league with some eye-catching stats, good enough to win the WC Pitcher of the Month. In August, Jansen starred with an impressive 5-1 record. In 6 starts he gave up 43 base hits and struck out 56 in 50 innings with a 2.88 ERA. This year, Jansen has posted a 9-4 mark in 16 starts and has a 3.29 ERA. |
