The Los Angeles Knights got a superb performance from pitcher Pete Townsend, but the El Paso Diablos still won the game, 6-4. Townsend threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Jian-gun Fou earned the win to go to 2-0. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. Ashton Gray notched his 2nd save of the season.

Javier Blanco delivered a big hit for El Paso. The left fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Diablos ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

Blanco attributed the win to "concerted effort and focus."

The loss drops Los Angeles to 2-6.
