The timely hitting of Micah Meredith helped the Atlanta Pilots down the Indianapolis Clowns, 9-2. Meredith hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Pilots. The winning pitcher was Carlos Correa. He's now 12-4. He went 7.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits for the Pilots. With the win, the Pilots hiked their record to 50-35.

Atlanta grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Meredith hit a 3-run home run off Bernie Loyola. His 11th home run of the season put the Pilots out in front, 5-2.
