Dallas and Los Angeles duked it out and the Texans came out victorious.
The Dallas Texans stopped the Los Angeles Knights, 6-3, behind an impressive performance from Brian Pratt. The former first round draft pick made life miserable for Los Angeles pitching. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The winner was Alan Markovic, who threw 100 pitches over 5.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 4 hits. Earning the save was Andy Colon. He's now cashed in 1 of 2 save opportunities.
Jeremy Hines hit a 2-run double off Jonathan Woods in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Texans in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Hines had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
