Starting pitcher Guadalupe Cabrera pitched well enough to help the Minnesota Loons beat the Los Angeles Knights, 5-3. The Loons sport a record of 28-47.

It could have been a different outcome for Minnesota, had it not been for Danny Coffer, the 29-year old catcher . Coffer contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Minnesota up, 3-0.

"Guadalupe gains confidence in the confidence we have in him," said Minnesota manager Brian Hughes.
